Between 2017 and 2019, he also worked as a casual academic at the University of New South Wales and served as a mentor for the Founders for Founders program from 2018 to 2021.\n\nIn 2019, Fitzgerald joined Meta as a software engineer, working in the San Francisco Bay Area until 2021.
