From 1997 to 2000, he worked at Bloomberg LP in its Internet and Technology division in Europe. In October 2000, he became Managing Director at Quartz Capital and Knight Securities, where he worked until April 2001. He then joined Ariadne Capital as Chief Operating Officer in March 2001 and served until September 2005. In September 2005, Rangar became Chairman of IndusView Ltd, a position he continues to hold. From 2009 to 2015, he also served as Chairman of Rangar Capital Management. He chaired NanoStruck Technologies Inc. from 2013 to 2014 and became CEO of Fineqia in April 2013, a role he still holds. In June 2014, he founded PremFina, where he serves as President. He explained how he founded PremFina, a company that allows customers to pay insurance premiums in installments, and discussed its technology platform, loan performance, and international investment backing.
