The collection originally formed part of a multi-token ecosystem that used LOOMI for Season I-era [staking](https://iq.wiki/wiki/staking) and rewards. On July 22, 2026, Creepz announced that Unserious had acquired the brand, with backing from Adam Weitsman and support from the original founders during the transition. Original artist Psychrome returned to lead IP development and creative direction.[[7]](#cite-id-g9muyilil8)\n\n## Overview\nOn January 6th, 2022, Season 1 was launched with the release of Creepz Genesis, which comprises 11,111 NFTs that were created using more than 800 distinct traits. The game introduced a storyline, or \"lore,\" centered around a tribe of intelligent mutant lizards, led by the [Overlord](https://iq.wiki/wiki/overlord), who aims to conquer Earth by assembling an army of lizard Creepz. Throughout their conquest, these lizards amassed $LOOMI, the ecosystem's [utility token](https://iq.wiki/wiki/utility-token), which was used in its \"play-to-earn\" strategy. These tokens could be used to buy future drops, characters, and upgrades. The 5,000 vaults were priced at 1 ETH each and granted the buyer 10,000 LOOMI upfront. During Season I, they provided a yield of 500 LOOMI per day when staked, which adjusted dynamically based on the current LOOMI price. It allowed users to purchase drops, characters, and upgrades in the game. Users could also stake multi-token DeFi Collectibles to earn LOOMI and upgrade their army’s ranking in the game. The platform offered five LOOMI levels: Reptilianz–[Level](https://iq.wiki/wiki/level) 1, Flat Earthers–Level 2, [Wen](https://iq.wiki/wiki/wen) Moon Lander–Level 3, The Anonymous–Level 4, and Area 51–Level 5. Memberships were activated, and LOOMI holders were rewarded based on their rankings.
