He then pursued an MSc in Computer Science Engineering at the same university (2003–2006), graduating with 110/110 summa cum laude and receiving scholarship awards for two consecutive years. During his master’s period, he also studied abroad as an Erasmus student at the University of Oulu (Finland) (2004–2005). He later earned a PhD in Computer Science (Cryptography) from Ruhr University Bochum (July 2018–December 2022).\n\n## Career\n\nAntonio Sanso began his career as a Software Engineer at Herzum from January 2006 to March 2007, then worked as a Software Engineer at IBM Ireland from March 2007 to January 2009. From January 2009 to October 2010, he was a Freelance WebSphere Specialist for Aviva. He then spent over a decade at Adobe in Switzerland as a Senior Security Researcher (December 2010 to May 2021).
