This was a 5-year undergraduate program that led to an MSc without awarding a BSc. In 2012, he earned another MSc. degree in advanced software engineering from University College, Dublin. [\\[2\\]](#cite-id-qv4nz0tb9gc)  \n  \n# Career  \n  \nAlex Beregszaszi started his career in 2005, as a Software Engineer at Siemens PSE Kft, then moved to the role of senior Software Engineer at 3PlayPlus until 2009. [\\[2\\]](#cite-id-qv4nz0tb9gc)  \n  \nIn 2006, he founded Siqon, a software consulting firm that worked with clients on creating multimedia and financial applications. Projects included browser plugins for online payments, payment gateway integrations, various video encoders, and video playback systems. He also co-founded Datira and Anesso and served as the CTO for both companies until 2010. He worked as a researcher and engineer in the EthereumJS team creating libraries such as ethereumjs-wallet and contributing heavily to ethereumjs-vm and other core packages.
