[\\[3\\]](#cite-id-de0plp6xk2)[\\[4\\]](#cite-id-7nz0ujq9k25)  \n  \n## How CorgiAI Works  \n  \nCorgiAI works by using the Ordinals protocol, which is a numbering scheme for satoshis, the smallest units of [Bitcoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/bitcoin). The Ordinals protocol allows users to assign data to individual satoshis, such as images, text, or metadata, and to track and transfer them as unique and identifiable tokens. [\\[1\\]](#cite-id-t5xburp4xdm)  \n  \nThe Ordinals protocol uses inscription, which is the process of embedding data into the Bitcoin blockchain. Inscription uses a special type of Bitcoin transaction, called OP\\_RETURN, which allows users to include up to 80 bytes of arbitrary data in a transaction output. By using OP\\_RETURN, users can inscribe data into the blockchain without affecting the validity or security of the transaction. Ordinalization works by using a deterministic algorithm that calculates the ordinal number of a satoshi based on its transaction ID, output index, and output value. Using ordinalization, users can identify and locate any inscribed satoshi on the blockchain, verifying its authenticity and ownership.
